Track Name: Your Time is More Important
Honest life
Honest day of work
Catching fever now
Hell on wheels
Take a cab or walk it off
Don’t try to talk it out

Coming down
Coming back down to earth
I always knew you would
Climb on down
From that bodhi tree on high and…
Spread a little love & share your time

Here’s the deal
There’s no deal
There’s nothing here for sale
Now you’re free
To pull the plug or take the plunge
But, won’t you stay?

Coming down
Coming back down to earth
I always knew you would
Climb on down
From that bodhi tree on high and…

Wish us all good luck & take some time
Shoot the breeze awhile & spend some time
Spread a little love & share your time
Track Name: Echo Chambers in The Hall of Mirror
I hear them talking
I feel the deeper blues
Stuck at passive stations
Amusing pseudo-gurus
Grey dots disconnecting
The trains of hope and fear
Echo chambers in the hall of mirror

Volume validation
From tiny minded minions
Confident inflation
Of front-line stock opinions
Try withholding crossfire
To let us really hear
Echo chambers in the hall of mirror

No one can really claim love is stick sure
You can’t bottle up that vital mixture
Even when the frame won’t hold the picture
It’s all gonna disappear, into the wilderness
Why not try some tenderness?

Broken record
Snap & crackle replay
All reflecting backward
Blunted point with a long delay
So sink down in the easy chair
Softened by hard time
Show your scars and I will show you mine

True but fading images
Rose-colored, raised with cheer
Echo chambers in the hall of mirror
Echo chambers in the hall of mirror
Echo chambers in the hall of mirror

Track Name: Seen Too Much, Forgotten Too Little
We’re leaving the torch light on
As we strip away thickening sadness
Until a fresh coat of slap-happy madness
Permeates this one sacred place

Even with tired eyes clenched tight shut
A sliver through the crack in our defense
Surely we meant no offense
Over-stating our well worn-out case

I’m paying it all back in kind
Against the sour-grape twisting of fate
When you’ve seen too much, forgotten too little, too late
Too little, too late

Fifteen rounds of spinning the dial
Fine-tuning static over telepathic wave
Running interference when the traffic behaves
In the half-awake pre-dawn dark

Thin icy ground brings slow motion sickness
Chasing our operatic tales
Dodging new ghosts on familiar trails
In this haunted amusement park

I’m paying it all back in kind
Against the sour-grape twisting of fate
When you’ve seen too much, forgotten too little, too late
Forgotten too little, too little too late

Save the last ritual dance for me
When worldly cares evaporate
Gonna throw down two left feet
Un-batten the hatches and congregate

Like a pillow fight in a feather storm
Got a mellow feeling it’s about to get warm
I might fly south at a later date
I’ve seen too much, forgotten too little, too late
Too little, too late
Track Name: No Good For Your Health
You’re afraid you’re gonna miss it
The moment of truth
In the heat of the moment
It’s a guessing game at best
It’s anybody’s guess
Unless they confess
But you know it all deep down inside

You don’t need a sucker punch
From a spirit guide to open wide
You’ve learned it all in spite of yourself
She’s no good for your health

The tumble of thoughts out in the light
Too much thinking makes baby go blind
She just doesn’t see two feet in front
Make it a double to attempt that stunt
Under duress, making a mess of the whole routine

You’re gonna come clean
As a whistle blowing off hot steam
You know that it won’t be stealth
She’s no good for your health

All in a funk, spinning around
You’re dizzy as Desi over Lucy
Painting the town, another surprise
Watering eyes are gonna get you feeling

Racked up a tab giving the gift of gab
Eating your cake, rationalizing earthquakes
It was all for the commonwealth
She’s no good... she’s no good...
She’s no good for your health
Track Name: Best Waste of My Time
I’ve wanted just to say it
But my brain’s above long gone
Tried real hard to play it cool
But I got the words to the love song wrong
All too much gray area
Finishing touches scary
Like an angry deaf mime
You’ll always be the best waste of my time

I’ve wanted just to tell it
On the mountain with cold truth
Pitch a double-headed coin
In the fountain of hot youth
Spirit of the troubled season
Hear it through the bubble
Of my stubborn reason
With improper rhyme
You’ll always be the best waste of my time

Floating inspiration, drowning in joyful abandon
Of having the last laugh, or a second first-impression
In the rear-view mirror, all your worst obsession
Over all the moves in your checkered-king past

I want to kneel & quench my thirst
From a stained half-empty glass
Empathy to wrench the curse
And sympathy to kick your ass
Polish up the golden egg
Crack it open, fry the thing
Astonish as I pull your leg
With words of hope I hope to sing
This bird is gonna wing it
Join the herd and bring it in my prime
You’ll always be the best waste of my time

With vaunted super-fan fare
We chip away & chime
This is still the best waste of our time
This is still the best waste of our time
So why are we still wasting so much time?
